Toolmen was a pioneer in Laser Cladding Systems since we partnered with SMU's Research Center for Advanced Manufacturing in 2003.  Since that time we have designed and manufactured many systems.  Our Latest effort was the 11"x11'x11' (3.5m**3) system for DM3D.  Our Gantry Systems can include up to a 7 axis Kinematic by using rotary and tilt axis.

Robot Applied Laser Cladding

Robotic systems allow a lot of flexibility and are used for cladding long parts particularly in the Oil and Gas Industry.  These systems can be quite cost effective and flexible versus a dedicated gantry system

ID Cladding Systems

ID Cladding System down to a 3" diameter tube with lengths that can be almost unlimited.  Toolmen uses advanced Camera Systems from MeltTools to allow process monitoring.  We designed a unique algorithm to control cladding height based off of capacitive height sensing.
